形式主語

今回の課題文には、形式主語（仮主語）が２つ使われています。

it will be seen〜→　it は形式主語で、that〜が意味上の主語です。that in navigation there are currents〜と that it requires a great deal of forethought〜の２つが意味上の主語になっています。

it require〜→　it は形式主語で、to take a ship in safety and with speed round the world〜が意味上の主語です。
