スラッシュリーディング＋リスニング課題文

課題文の和訳

私たちは熱心に水を探しつつ、広く広がる松林の真ん中を前進しながら、夜の間にできた水滴をまだ残している葉を吸うことで、焼けるような喉の渇きを静めた。

連続する後置修飾

今回の課題文では、後半に後置修飾が２つ続く箇所があるため、意味がとりにくくなっています。

which still retained the moisture→　関係代名詞の which 以下の語句が上の行の some leaves を後ろから修飾しています。
