スラッシュリーディング＋リスニング課題文

if、whether

今回の課題文では（he）asked himとあって、後ろに if があるので、asked him if〜は「〜かどうか彼に尋ねた」という意味になります。if 節中に、もう１つ if が出てきますが、こちらは「もし〜なら」という意味です。

この課題文では、if〜の他にもう１つ、whether〜もあるので、「〜かどうか」が２つあることになります。
